All this time, I have only sought what is best for my people. Hadrien's rule will be a disaster, so I opposed it. I came in peace here, and was greeted with the business end of a pike. I have made enemies without ever having set out to hurt another living creature. But I shall hurt as many as I must. Such is war, cousin.

This feeble Roland Ironfist quakes in his boots at the sight of our forces, because he knows how close we are. He is ill-prepared for war. His forces are not mustered; his vassals' armies are leagues away.
